Potts Mason Interiors

Ashley Potts and Emi Mason met while working for Phoebe Howard and have been designing spaces together across the country since 2015.

In 2022, after seven years of learning from the best, they established Potts Mason Interiors. It is their goal to create inviting, livable spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful.

About Emi…

Emi’s passion for design began in her hometown, Knoxville, Tennessee, where she spent her childhood constantly reimagining her family home. She graduated from Auburn University’s CIDA-accredited Interior Design program and is a LEED Green Associate, bringing a strong foundation in both technical design and sustainability.

Her experience includes working with Ashley Gilbreath, Melanie Milner, and Phoebe Howard, where she contributed to projects nationwide and refined her thoughtful, detail-driven approach. Emi is known for her technical expertise and love of reworking older homes for modern living—prioritizing function first, then layering in beauty.

Outside of work, she enjoys time with her husband, Matt, and their two boys, often on the water or back in Auburn cheering on the Tigers.

About Ashley…

Ashley’s passion for design was shaped early through travel, her grandmother’s interior design business, and summers spent in Copenhagen—instilling a love for clean lines, antiques, and neutral palettes. After earning a degree in Journalism from the University of Georgia, she spent five years in marketing before transitioning to interior design.

Ashley went on to work with Phoebe Howard for seven years, managing projects across the country and refining her approach to thoughtful, layered interiors. Her work blends Scandinavian simplicity with the timeless elegance of Southern design.

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys time with her husband, Sam, and their two young boys!
